Bob Chandler began using a Mac in 1984, the year it was introduced. After using the Mac while working in campus ministry, he began teaching with MacAcademy in 1989. Bob taught at their seminars across the country and is the instructor on several video and CD training resources. Bob started MacVantage, Inc. in 1992, and serves as President. He has answered Macintosh questions for the Raleigh News & Observer’s Stump the Geeks column and is active in the Triangle Mac Users Group. Bob specializes in helping companies strategically use their Macs to improve business processes. He consults in networking, Internet deployment, FileMaker Pro database development, accounting software, advanced Mac training, hardware specification, OS X Server deployment, and Macintosh to Windows integration.
Phil Shepard has used Macs since 1985 when he began using them in college. He also used the Mac while working in ministry to students and faculty at colleges and universities. Phil later sold and repaired Macs at a major retail store. Phil is also an excellent trainer and tutor whether the class has 250 students or just 1. He consults with home users, schools, churches, and businesses to get the most from their Macs, PCs, and iOS devices. He can help improve Internet or networking performance, set up wireless networks involving Macs and PCs, and upgrade hardware or software. He also has experience integrating Macs into PC networks. Phil also deploys Mac and Windows servers with support for Mac and PC clients. Phil also helps Windows users become more comfortable with the Mac environment and Mac users become more comfortable with the Windows environment.
